Certain pages won't print

Anyone have ideas on what to do when certain pages won't print from InDesign
v 2.02?

I'm printing to an HP LaserJet 6MP (postscript). I'm trying to print a pub
that was converted from Pagemaker format. Most pages print fine, but certain
ones will not print (the printer gives me a "need more memory error, but I
know that is not correct because I have plenty of memory in the printer),
and this happens even when I try to print the single page that is causing a
problem. However, if I make a PDF out of the file, the PDF turns out fine,
and I can print from a PDF file just fine.

I tried deleting things one-by one on those pages that wouldn't print, but
there is not any one thing on the bad pages that makes it not print. At
first I thought a selection of text that was in a certain Type 1 PS font was
causing a problem on one page, because when I deleted it or changed the text
to a different font, the page would then print. But then the next time I
opened the pub and tested it the page would not print when the new text was
in the new font, that previously printed OK.

I've tried copying and pasting the contents of these pages that won't print
into a new document, and the new document will not print.

On another page that wouldn't print, when I deleted a certain section of
text, it would then print OK. But then the next time I opened that page, it
would not print correctly. So there doesn't seem to be any one thing on
these pages that is causing it not to print.

I've made sure I have the most current printer drivers, and I've deleted a
lot of unused fonts on my system in case that was the problem, but the pages
still don't print right. I also tried selecting a different printer & PPD,
saving the pub, and then reselected the LaserJet printer and PPD, but that
did not help.

Anyone have any suggestions on what else to try? Because I can create a PDF
file out of the pub and that prints fine, does that give any clues as to
what might be causing my printing problems? Any advice would be
appreciated!!
