relative link file path for burning pdf to cd/dvd

creating a pdf book from an IDCS4 book. links within chapters are no
problem in single-exported pdf. links to other pdfs are unable to be
linked as the file path stays with my mac volume path, but a relative
path that will be usable on a cd/dvd for use on windows. any thoughts
on how to create relative paths to external pdfs on the same cd/dvd?
