More info: I'm looking at the finished product now. The only true color that was used was the photos, however they lost a lot of quality and clarity so they must have been reprocessed (or salvaged somehow). The originals were 150dpi and processed as CMYK. Everything else is grayscale. The ChiselD fonts (headings) were colored in with a blue color and the yellow bands are gray. The green bars and lines are black. The horse is light gray. This was not a "pop it in" placement. It was definately reworked. I'm seeking a credit and redo from the publisher. Perhaps we can take our time and do a prototype of a small ad. Once we have it together, it should be well worth it. We've done several grayscale ads in the last few weeks that have been stellar.
