Hi Eric, 

You and I are using the same operating system, NT 4 and service pack 6. However, I am not running off of a network. Are you? If so, then that is the only difference. If not, then I am puzzled as I too am still working off of the trial version for InDesign 2. 

What happens is you escape out of that NT message box? What are your "rights" on your system? I have admin. rights.
