All, 

Maybe I am mixing apples and oranges with this question, but is it possible to use the Workgroup feature with other than with simple password security?  For example, could the workgroup feature be served from a site secured via SSL?  Are there other options for securing a server, e.g., other than using AuthType Basic of an Apache server.
