[Why not ask for a free copy of Photoshop and Illustrator too?]

Because I need Photoshop and Illustrator for what they are designed to do, I have both of them for working with my graphics.

Is it too much to ask for ID to at worst have the color tools Pagemaker had, since it is supposed to work better? I assure you, I don't need the full version of Acrobat either, just to process my color separations.

Like was said above, this is only an issue that interrupts my workflow, not a consumer seeking hand-outs. If Adobe is serious about wanting people to use InDesign it should be a consideration that they've upgraded Pagemaker in this area and not InDesign.
