I have to create a file that has two elements. One, a looping animation and, two, an image that covers the looping animation that fades on a mouse click. My first question is about the mouse click trigger. Using scripting, can I trigger the image to fade by clicking on the image itself, or do I need to create a hidden button that triggers the movie clip fade? I know how to create a looping movie clip for the bottom layer. I'm just having trouble figuring out how to link the two. Any help would be appreciated as I'm sure its a simple script. I'm new to LM2 having used LM1 for a few animations. The scripting editor seems easy to use but I'm a little lost and don't have the help files that came with LM2. thanks!
