Willy, muchos gracias...I'm burning the midnight oil tonight. Kurt, I can't open your file, either. There's something definitely wrong with it, and with a quick glance of it in AI, I can't make out where the problem may be. Here's whats strange: if I open the file in Illustrator, then simply save as AI9, I can open the resulting file just fine. It should be identical, but somehow yours won't open, and the copy I saved will. If you want to see this firsthand, I can post the AI file tomorrow. My next question would be: exactly how are you making the file? Step by step, and I will try to produce the same type of problematic file. Thanks, -Joe
