Not stupid!
You use the unLoadMovie command in the script editor. As well, you can use ActionScript to control a loaded movie animation.
Say you load a new movie to Level 1 like this. loadMovieNUM("myfile.swf", 1);
So now, its an animation, and you want to play it from the root movie.
_level1.play();
Will tell the animation, in level 1 to play. If you have a label, like label a, you could do this.
_level1.gotoAndPlay("a");
If you have a label in a movie clip The lable is a, and the movie clip is myAni, you would do this.
_level1.myAni.gotoAndPlay("a");
Any questions?
