Rob, what more specifically seems to be the problem?

I would start by messing with this line:

loadVariables("http://optin.verticalresponse.com/?fid=3e75743401", "_root.FormMCG", "POST");

First, I would change the code to point directly at whatever page you're loading.
loadVariables("http://optin.verticalresponse.com/page.html", "", "POST");

And instead of appending the fid variable to the url, just declare it earlier in the script:
fid = 3e75743401;

I'm not really sure what you're trying to do, though. Make a flash form, or an html form? A flash form that sends vars to an html form?
