I have created animated openings, and I have done interactive buttons and remote rollovers with scripting, but now I am trying to do both, and the method eludes me. This is a rather complex home page website at <http://www.jazzybluesfoods.com> First I built the title coming on (non repeating) and the round pictures cycling on and off (repeating). No problem. Now the plates on the right side, I am trying to do some links to other webpages over there, and I have several questions about it... Let's say I have 9 or 10 objects associated with the link buttons and related animation. If I build those 10 objects (you might call them "tracks") right at the start (frame 1) of the timeline, and add labels and script them to animate to over and down states... If I select them all and make them into a movie clip group, shouldn't they then function independently of the rest of the timeline? So even though I located these interactive button tracks at the far left of the timeline, once I "movie clip group" the relevant tracks, the labels and scripting at the top shouldn't affect any of the other tracks, no?? The labels and scripts should only affect the actions within that movie clip group. I hope. Thanks for any help on this. sincere regards -CR
