If you are asking if the animated gif format supports audio the answer is no. Is there a reason why you want to use gif?

Thanks for the response...well it's a animated graphic for my band and I figured an animated gif would be the only way to go...myspace doesn't accept SWF codes....at least I don't think so?

They do. In fact, just about my entire myspace page is a swf. myspace.com/onetallmensan if you are interested in viewing it.

Well, generally you would save the swf and your html files to your hard drive first, then upload them to a live server. Since I have my own site I publish my files there. From what you described, you would have the same problem using a .gif as you do a .swf file (if they dont allow files with extensions, which I don't get, but both of those file types do.) The .gif still wouldn't fix your audio problem and for animation the quality is not as good as swf. .gif is good for simple animations, not complex ones. Maybe someone else knows of a good place for uploading files? Is geocities still around?
