Hi,

	I have a couple of friends that are graduating from MIT this
Spring, with degrees in mechanical engineering.  Both are interested in
mechanical control systems, but would entertain ideas of other
employment in the field.  One of them has a fairly strong EE background
as well. Both of these guys are looking to move to the Bay Area after
graduation, but are having difficulties finding companies that are
looking for Mech E's, especially just coming out of school.  It seems
like the Southland has more jobs in this area because of its stronghold
in the defense industries.

	So, does anyone have reccomendations of companies that they
should be checking out?  Does anyone work for a firm that had open recs.
for such candidates?
