Need HELP converting old PM5 files

Hello,
My problem is this: I need to up-convert some old PM5 (Mac) files to use on Mac or PC but the Adobe Cross.exe program doesn't seem to be able to do it. Cross tells me it's made the conversion, but when I try to open it in PM7, I get the message that it can't convert up and across platforms at the same time. (That may be because I'm running Cross on Windows XL instead of an older Windows 95-98.)

I'm now running InDesign on an iMac (OSX), but also have PageMaker 7.0 on a PC with Windows XL.

Do you know of a conversion that will work?

Thanks very much!

Regards, John Broadwater
