I answered my own question after I sent it. However, have another. Where oh where in the Help or in the manual does it say how to Place a graphic and link it? Somewhere I read to hold down ctrl-alt for about 5 seconds and then place. I do this and the graphic is linked and the file is named John_D.tif. And the linked file is smaller than the original. However, sometimes I just lose it and hold down ctrl-shift instead. This is when I get John_U.tif and both the original file and the linked file are the same size. But - how do I know how to link? Where is it written? Thanks. Carole
