I am using PM65 on Win ME. I have 20 publications (total about 950 pp.) which I want to combine into a book. UTILITIES has BOOK grayed out until I open a pub. so I open 1 of the chapters. Then I select UTILTIES-BOOK and in the window I tell it what chapters I want in the book and in what order. (They are all already there from previous attempts, but for it to work I have to delete one of them from the right side and reinstall it from the left, as if tickling PM to wake up.) So far so good. (I've also tried re-selecting the whole list from L to R and it makes no difference) I select consecutive page renumbering and OK and it renumbers all the pp. But then I get a window saying it can't find pub "ALL CHAPTERS". Weird because I never created such a name so PM must have, and now it can't find it! "Search" can't either. That's as far as I can get. So I thought instead of starting UTILITIES-BOOK via a chapter of the book I'd try creating a blank chapter called ALL CHAPTERS, which I did, and opening that and running UTILITIES-BOOK and specifying the order of the 20 chapters, which went OK. Again I select auto p. renumber and it took a few secs. to do so.  I hoped all the chapters would fill ALL CHAPTERS (this time no "Find pub:" window) but then I was left with nothing but the still empty Master Page of ALL CHAPTERS. I saved it, closed it and re-opened it and still nothing in it. So where is PM storing the book it creates for me? (I get no error messages and nothing to suggest low RAM etc.) Please help.
