Peter: PageMaker 6.5x is NOT certified to run under Win2k. There ae hundreds of other Topics with information on this. And PageMaker will not work with Unicode fonts. The only character set PageMaker 6.5x supports is the standard 255 ANSI Windows character set. The Unicode Worldwide Character Standard is a character coding system that includes many more characters than the ANSI Windows character set. Unicode fonts, standardized by Unicode, Inc., were not commonly used when PageMaker 6.5x was released. When you import a Unicode character that is not included in the Windows character set, PageMaker substitutes another character for it. If you want to use a Unicode font in PageMaker, use the Character Map accessory included with Windows to determine which characters are included in the font. In Windows NT 4.0 PageMaker will recognize characters that appear when you choose Windows Characters from the Subset pop-up menu in the Unicode Character Map dialog box. There is a list of language versions available for PageMaker at: http://www.adobe.com/products/pagemaker/ <http://www.adobe.com/products/pagemaker/>
