Having just gone to a new system with Vista Home Premium after a major crash of my XP Pro system, I'm experiencing the same thing... Pagemaker 6.5 not compatible with Vista. I've attempted to open my Pagemaker files in In Design (which was no problem in XP Pro), but get an error message saying the files are damaged. All of my Pagemaker files are on external drives so couldn't have been affected by the crash, and I know they're not damaged because I'd recently opened many of them prior to the crash on the XP Pro system. I'm a graphic designer and love In Design but still used Pagemaker basically as a quick word processor since it opened MUCH faster than In Design. I'm also in an Irish/Celtic band and have about 300 song lyrics and sheet music pages saved in PM6.5 format. If I can't find a way to open them, it's all lost. Any suggestions? DC
