(Please don't tell me to upgrade to newer software. The cost is prohibitive, and I'm very comfortable with PM7, as well.) I just "upgraded" from XP to Win 7 64-bit, and the following good-old apps could be a problem: Pagemaker 7 Acrobat 7 Pro Photoshop 7 (This does install and work so far, but I'm holding my breath.) Illustrator 10 Before I wade into this, I'd appreciate any suggestions/advice on how to do the best install. Any yweaks, tips, etc.? TIA SS

Hi... I have (seemingly) successfully installed PM7. I have not installed any of the updates -- I figure I can live without them for now, since Win7 seemed not to like 7.09. It does crash occasionally on exit, but that is not a problem, since it does not affect any of my document files. However...to use the Export to PDF, it wants a Post Script printer driver installed. I think I had a generic PS driver installed on my own computer. Does any one know here to get it? Was it call Mopier (or something like that)? TIA SS

Thanks for the info...do you suggest I use the XP mode for the installation as well as for running the app? I did this way. The XP-mode should not be SWITCHED-OFF when you close it but just HIBERNATHED, to speed up the start/close phases. It's in the options. in the XP mode the Seven partition is seen as \\tsclient\c\ and you have FULL access to the whole disk just note that having a processor that supports hardware virtualization is a must -- /-\ /\/\ /\/\ /-\ /\/\ /\/\ /-\ T /-\ -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- - -=- >>>>> http://www.bb2002.it :) <<<<< ...........
