My brother-in-law has old windows files from pagemaker 6. He has a mac
running Lion. He says he can get mac pagemaker 6 free, but not sure how to
do a conversion. I saw elsewhere that PM won't run on Leopard!

These files are all on FLOPPIES, which he has a drive which an old PC will
read (garbage but he sees Pagemaker 6 in the garbage near the bottom, but
which his Lion Mac won't read. He doesn't have PM on the PC.

Is the best approach to put PM on the PC, if he can, and convert them to
something else that can be read on the Mac?

I don't think he's concerned about formatting; the files are from an old
Master's thesis.
