I am running Pagemaker 7. The programme does not allow me to save preferences so I have to alter them every day when I start to use the programme. Does anyone know why I get the preferences cannot be saved message?

To save global preferences, set them with no publication open.

If they are not being saved, then you probably have some access issues with the default [PMDIR] folder tree.

If you are using Vista or XP64, all bets are off.
