I'm creating templates which will be used by others in my departmetn to make brochures. There will be hundreds made each year, and the design is rather simple. There are several empty photo frames throughout, all filled with red (to show poor cropping). When I export a PDF, one page has some of these red frames added. These frames are not on the page, are not on the master page, and are not on any hidden layers (there are no hidden layers). In fact, they never were on the page. The do not appear on distilled PostScript files, but do appear on some printouts. It seems that te view mode in Indesign affect this. Does anybody have a similar experience, and how was it resolved? Man, I'm tired of not getting paid to beta-test.
