You have Acrobat 4, correct?  Does the Acrobat Distiller printer show
up in your printers control panel?  If so, we are ready.

In Acrobat 4 (not 5 or 6), you must start the Distiller application.
In there are the settings you must select. Take a good look at them,
but a good starting point may be the Press settings if you are going
to a printing press, or Print if you just want good desktop printing.
The settings you select in Distiller (with Acrobat 4) are the ones
used when you print to the Distiller printer.
