🚀 go-pugleaf

I am fairly new to working with these programs, but I have created business cards in PageMaker 7.0, using only fonts (no graphics). When I tried to export to create a PDF file, my computer would just shut down. I worked for days on this until I finally got it to work, but it seems very touchy in that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone know what causes this to happen, and is there anyway I can fix it.

This is a PC environment.

Second part of question. When I finally get it to export, everything is scaled smaller than the original PageMaker file which throws my alignment off by about 2 picas for each card. Since there are 5 across cards, this totals to about 10 picas overall across, and 4 picas down. What can I do to preserve my original document size. I re did everything in Illustrator, saved it to PDF, and the formatting was still not the same as the original document.

I have embedded the fonts, but there must be something I'm not doing that would correct this....or is this the way it always works. Since I'm a beginner, there is much I do not know. But, I am glad to be on-line with a bunch of talented experts. Thanks. Marcia
