I use both Mac and PC platforms. I use Acrobat 4.0 on the pc and Acrobat 5 on the Mac. The Word files I receive are usually prepared by clients and sent to me to convert and post. After I have created the pdf from the Word document, and I open the new pdf, the links already embedded from the Word document do not work. I know that in the full version of Acrobat the pdf can be opened and the link text can be selected and paired with the correct URL, however, that is really time consuming if there are several layers of links in the document. Is there a more automatic way to retain all of the links from a Word document without having to select every link individually? Nancy
