Is this on a Mac? I was a system administrator for a prepress company, and I found that many users develop all sorts of nasty tricks to make their file come up first in alphabetical order � such as using a space in front of the name, a tilde, and numbers. This shifted items starting with a to a later point in the hierarchy. It also made those with a space in front of them name nearly unsearchable, useless you could spot the space. It may be in issue like this.
