If properly installed, Adobe Reader establishes itself as the program that opens when you double-click any .PDF file. Did you install some other program that does anything to PDF files (such as a convert PDF file to Word utility program)? - Dov PS: Please post such a question as a new topic; don't piggyback on irrelevant existing topics.
