Thank you for your response. I'm taking that to mean Acrobat 8 Professional is what you are telling me that will allow not only to create forms but do a "Save As" to save the individual students completed form.

Now as for the needed fields that I would like to have their entries repeated on subsequent pages, would that be a regular text field I need to drop in to the form and would I have to change anything in the properties area?

Until I get the updated version, I hope the Trial version of 8 Pro will let me practice with what I am trying to do.
