Best ROUTE to take?! HELP!

Basically, I need to make a small pdf ~10-15 pages and keep it >10mb.

I make each page in Ilustrator and/or InDesign.

The text looks great of course. But, images leave more to be desired. Blurry, blurry and bland!

All images are comprised of screenshots, and I need to know how to resize them so they still look good on an 8.5x11" sheet. I am on a 24" monitor, and most full sized images are twice as large as they should be. They are usually of websites, and they are heavy text and images. The text isn't completely important, as I am more concerned with crisp edges of images. However, when I resize the PNG to fit the sheet in Illustrator it looks horrible. I have read briefly about converting to a vector, does anyone know how to do this quickly?

Argh.

Any help is appreciated.
THANKS IN ADVANCE
