I have an old version of Publisher and created a documnet to go to my print which I can save in a variety of formats and thougt JPEG would do. But they tell me they only work with PDF. How can I convert the original .pub or .jpeg to pdf please?.

Julia, You need the commercial Acrobat product. It comes in three versions: Standard, Pro, and Extended. The Standard and Extended are PC only products. Pro is available on PC and Mac. If you have questions about these products please post in the Acrobat forum. ...Mike

You also need to be sure you are making a high quality PDF. The settings you get if you don't change anything make a PDF for screen viewing only, and this will be as terrible as a PDF for printing. Seek advice from the printing house on what Acrobat settings to use, because there is no "one size fits all" solution. Aandi Inston

JPEG is generally an *awful* format for any document that contains text (which is just about *any* document, yes? ;) Converting the JPEG to PDF is not going to make it any better, either! You really will want to go back to the original Publisher files and convert *those* to PDF.

You have a paper based form. It hasn't been converted to an acrobat form. They expect you to print it out and fill it out by hand. Mike
