I'm working on a VB program and wondering if its possible to search within a pdf for specific keywords. I want something really similar to the built-in search in Adobe Reader 8, but i need a search function to be created in VB this way.

I'm thinking the only way to do this is using some sort of library but other than that i have no clue. I have had no luck in finding a free one either. Can this even be done since a pdf file is essentially just an image?
