The Grid in Photoshop CS4 and previous versions (toggle, Cmd/Ctl ') is a useful tool for aligning, straightening, etc. The Grid would be a far more powerful tool if users could modify the following attributes, and particularly on the fly with keyboard/mouse commands:

� Change gridline spacing (now available only in Preferences), particularly using a mouse wheel

� Automatically set the gridline spacing to produce an even number of full cells horizontally and vertically across an image

� Move grid position relative to the underlying image, particularly using the arrow keys or by clicking and dragging

� Snapping the Grid to center, with horizontal and vertical gridlines intersecting at dead center on an image

I'd go for that as well.

Being able to convert to paths as well would be great.
