I have two overlapping images. Using Auto align I let Photoshop align them. It is clearly visible that (in my case) the right image has been transformed in a number of ways. Now, I wonder: - Is there a way to know how the transformation has been done? I mean there must be a number of numerical values that have been applied to the various kinds of transformations (scale, rotate, skew etc) that Photoshop may have chosen from. -If I convert the layer containing the right picture to a "Smart object" the command "Replace contents" becomes available. The documentations says: "When you replace a Smart Object, any scaling, warping, or effects that you applied to the first Smart Object are maintained." However, if I replace the contents of my right (transformed) picture, the replacement comes in without any visible transformation. How can this dilemma be solved? Tia /Johan Stck Stockholm Sweden
