JS: Want Copyright Info But Not Camera EXIF - How?

Ok, this is frustrating. I want to save an image for the Web in JPEG format while retaining the copyright info but not the camera EXIF data. There appears to be no way to do this. I can save the document in two ways. One way, using the saveAs method of the Document object, allows me to retain the copyright info, but there appears to be no way to remove the camera EXIF data. The other way, using ScriptListener to record a "Save for Web", eliminates all meta data - both the camera EXIF as well as the copyright info. Grrr...

The only solution that comes to mind is to first save for Web and then reopen the file, add the copyright info, and resave using the Document object. What a pain and major kludge. Someone please tell me I'm missing something and there's a better way.

p.s. I'm using CS.

Thanks,
