I work on a Windows XP platform and am also looking for a way to automate the merging of text with images in Photoshop (7 or CS), like names of individuals on a sports team with their individual and team images. I would like to write out the needed text into specific ASCII text files and copy/rename images into specific filenames and then start a action/script with a hot key which would grab these files and do the requested merge. I have programmed in several languages, but not in VB or Photoshop scripting. Are there any publicly available scripts that would be a good starting point? What scripting languages would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
