Thanks for reply - BTW sorry your name got in the post, I'd only pasted the url.

Points seem to work. At first I though part of the problem was that I hadn't specified the unit of measurement for the height / width. I tried adding a line to set both ruler and type to pixels, but I still had the problem. When I changed both to points, both the JS and VB scripts now work correctly. Damn odd.
