The easiest way to automate Photoshop without scripting is using C# and
Visual Studio .NET.
I would have to dispute that statement Colleen. I would say that using VB.NET is easier if only because all the Adobe examples are in VB6 or VBScript and are easier to translate into .Net for that reason. On top of that, and this can be a real boon, the VB.NET upgrade wizard is truly a wizard and has helped me on a few occasions with some of the complex syntax like declaring arrays of object arrays and the like. As well, hardly anybody posting here is working in C# so getting help would be more difficult. And finally, the amazing and invaluable ScriptListener does not produce C# code.
