Save without dialog

I'm a little embarassed to ask this because it seems so simple:

I'm working on a javascript script but can't get it to save the image without it popping up the jpeg options dialog. I need it to save over the existing image, not save as a new file.

Any help is appreciated, I apologize if this is a silly question.
