Have you any experience with VBA or VB? Very difficult to make any recommendations based on the information (lack of) you give. Using Photoshop with any flavour of VB is the same as using automation for any application. You need to understand the language you are programming in (differs between the Office apps VBA and between the different versions of VB but the fundamentals are the same more or less) and how to use this with Photoshop.
