Okay,
Here's what I've got so far. A little test script to find out if I get a string output that I can use as a variable:
' Set the application to run the script in Photoshop
Dim appRef
Set appRef = CreateObject( "Photoshop.Application" )
' Open a dialog to prompt user to select a text file
Dim strFile
Dim objShell
Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application")
Dim objBFF
Set objBFF = objShell.BrowseForFolder(&H0,"Open File",&H4031,&H0011)
MsgBox("The file is: " & objBFF)
I'm using the Shell object to create the dialog box, but I continue to get the error "The system cannot find the specified file".
What am I doing wrong?
