I have a similar problem (Birger Kraegelin - Copypage in PS Level 3 2/18/2003 archive)

We have a process which merges a graphic form with a page/pages of data. We were using copypage in a redefinition of showpage to put variable information on each copy of form (ie. original,copy1) This worked great on level 2 printers, but level 3 printer do not work, because of redefinition of copypage.

In the Adobe Tech Note#5608, it states that copypage should not be used and to print one or more pages that contain variable information, it is recommended that Postscript language forms be used.
How is this implemented? or is there another solution to get same functionality?

I could use #copies qualifier, but I need different verbiage to print on each page (original, copy 1)

Thank for any assistance.
