Hi Andrey,

It's more reliable for you manage images (or .EPS) externally (possible with open file systems interpreters or Distiller/Ghostscript engines). Like this:

% Win path notation
(C:/myDir/myImage.EPS)

% file object capture
(r) file /MyExImage exch def

% translate and scale (if necessary)
% and safe protection with BeginEPSF/EndEPSF procedures
% you can found this procedures in the PLRM Appendix H manual

BeginEPSF
100 100 translate
2 2 scale
MyExImage cvx exec
EndEPSF
