How Does Post Script affect color

We have an HP 1050C Design jet printer at our Architectural firm, that we are printing wall paper and flooring designs on to show our clients. The colors are coming out way off (ie tans are mucky green, and prints are over saturated). We are wondering if installing the Post Script hardware so we can use the pS driver will affect the way the colors are printed. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you
Ron
