I give to press-services (more than one) the .ps files to print. After many test they accept from me the file made with the "Optimized for portability - ADSC" in Windows 95/98. This from some years ago (I was working wirοΏ½th FM 5.0). Now I work with Win 2000 and FM 6, but I have to print on postscript on a PC with Win 98, because the Optimized for portability in Win2000 doesn't work with distiller and the "Archive Forma" doesn't work at the press services... ARGH!
