I want to be able to take n postscript files and distill them into 1 pdf. I know there is some way to add lines of code to the first ps file that would point to the others, I just have no idea how to do it.

I've looked over 'run' and 'setfileposition' in the reference and searched through some of the other Adobe material and it's still not clear (to me). I admit I know very little of postscript programming but I know I can figure it out with a little more help than the reference materials provide.

I imagine I would insert the code after the page description but before any calls that would end processing.

Is that it (of course with a real file reference)? Do I need to use setfileposition to bypass the linked file's header? And any tail code that might end processing? Do I use separate lines to run each file or can I create an array of files and perform a run on that? Do I have to worry about taking the file objects off the stack (disposing of them)?

Any help, examples, or links to other reference material will be greatly appreciated.
