Okay, I just retyped the whole program and it worked fine. But now, I need to ask if there is any way to preserve the separation names for the pages. As it is now, I get every page with the name of the first page (which was the first one page document listed in the prun program). I might be able to find a workaround with AppleScript (what will be driving this whole thing anyway), but I'm hoping to avoid it. Actually after looking over the AS dictionary for Acrobat, it doesn't look possible, or if possible, not clearly so. I'll probably post the same question in the Acrobat forum since this now seems more appropriate to that. Thanks for your help.
