inserting PJL commands

Is it possible to insert some PJL commands at the beginning of a print job data stream by inserting them into the PPD file on the computer. This will be on a Macintosh and also for Windows. I would like to do this to add some features of the printer that are not available in the driver, and I dont want the people using the computer to change them.
