The problem is not that the points are on the top each other, what it shoud be. The data were taken from a measured waveform with about 100,000 dots. I extracted some data, removed all the scalings from the orginal file in order to display the problem in a clearest way. The problem is that for the first line (red one) the dots "ARE NOT ON THE TOP EACH OTHER" and that their positioning in y-direction is essentially unpredictable (depending on the line width or spacing in x-direction).
