First, I'm a PS user, not a coder. Still, I have been unsuccessfully searching for a tool that will allow me to translate customized halftone screening settings from an EPS directly into an editable vector file, and I'd thought I'd come here to try my luck. The only thing that I found that does this, 'sorta', is a website called the Rastercator (cute, eh?) that will translate a bitmap image into an array of round spot vectors in a PDF. This works for raster files, but what about something that will handle vector objects containing customized screen settings? I've tried various PS interpreters on the software I have, but none contain the ability to 'capture' the halftone information as a set of vector objects. Can anyone here help me out? Thanks.
