My process in brief: I have code that generates a .ps from a MS Word document. That .ps file can be input to a c++ dll that will transform it into two up. Much like this perl script will <http://www.cs.indiana.edu/docproject/programming/postscript/nup.html> Everything was working fine until I recently upgraded postscript print drivers. Code that produced distillable two up .ps files continues to generate .ps files. Unfortunately, the resulting file no longer distills. The distiller reports an "invalid restore". The odd part is when I remove the last gsave, grestore and restore the file *will* distill. I am uncomfortable removing the restore as it was part of the original .ps file. I am a total newcomer to .ps so any help is appeciated. Where did I go wrong?
